Privacy policy

The iPhone, iPad and Mac app

The app collects no personal data and sends nothing to us. There is no ShellBound account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Its App Store privacy label reads Data Not Collected.

Your settings, ranked ladder, arcade stages and career wins are saved on your device. When iCloud is on for your Apple Account, the app also keeps a copy of that progress in your own iCloud storage so your devices stay in step. We cannot see it, and Apple's privacy policy covers iCloud.

When you are signed in to Game Center, the app sends your ranked rating, your career win count and the achievements you unlock to Game Center. Apple runs Game Center, and your Game Center settings decide who can see them.

When you tap Share Result, the result card goes to the app you pick in the system share sheet. It does not pass through us.

Links in the game, like the credits, open in your web browser, where that site's own policy applies.

This website

shellbound-game.com uses Google Analytics to count visits. It records the pages you view, your device and browser type and an approximate location, using cookies. Google's privacy policy covers how Google handles that data. Your browser's tracking protection or Google's opt-out add-on will block it.

The free match at /play/ keeps a note in your browser's local storage that you have played it. That note stays on your device and is never sent to us.

The Download on the App Store badges load from Apple's servers. The website has no sign-in and no forms.

Children

The app collects no data from anyone, children included.
