How do I play?
Move, set your angle, then hold Fire to build power and let go to shoot. The wind bends every shot, so watch the dial. The how to play guide covers the rest.
What are the controls on a Mac?
Left and right arrow keys move, up and down aim, 1, 2 and 3 pick a weapon, and holding Space charges your shot. Escape pauses.
I bought it on iPhone. Do I pay again on Mac?
No. One purchase covers iPhone, iPad and Mac. Open the Mac App Store signed in with the same Apple Account and download it from there.
Where is my progress saved?
On your device, and in iCloud when iCloud is on for your Apple Account. Your ranked ladder, arcade stages and career wins then sync between your iPhone, iPad and Mac. With iCloud off, deleting the app deletes your progress.
My scores are not showing in Game Center.
Check that you are signed in under Settings, then Game Center. ShellBound sends your rank, wins and achievements as soon as you sign in, each time the app opens and after every match.
Can I play without an internet connection?
Yes. The app carries the whole game, so VS CPU, Arcade, Ranked and 2 Players all work offline. Game Center and iCloud catch up when you reconnect.
The sound is off on my iPhone.
The game follows your ring/silent switch, so it never surprises a quiet room. Flip the switch to ring, or check Music and Sound FX in the pause menu.
How do I get a refund?
Apple handles every App Store payment, so refunds go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Reporting a bug
Email hello@polyxmedia.com with your device, the version of iOS, iPadOS or macOS, the map you were on and what happened just before the problem. A screenshot helps a lot.
